Our Vision

What We Believe

Foundational Beliefs

At the Church of God of Philadelphia, we believe in the authority of the Bible as the inspired Word of God. We believe in one true God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, who died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead on the third day.

Salvation and the Church

We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, made possible through faith in Jesus Christ alone. The Holy Spirit indwells and empowers believers, enabling them to live obediently and share the good news of Jesus with others. The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers, and it exists to worship God, build up one another, and share the gospel with the world.

The Return of Christ and Final Judgment

Finally, we believe in the return of Jesus Christ, who will establish His kingdom on earth and judge all people according to their response to Him. These beliefs shape our worship, teaching, and service as a community of faith. We strive to live out these values and share the love of Christ with everyone around us.
